What is iCols?
iCols is an application for the iPhone, which gives you the possibility to view all the information and height profiles of your favorite Col.
My favorite col is not in iCols, what can I do?
We want every col to be available in iCols, but we can never reach that goal without your help. In the future, it will be possible to add new cols via the iCols website. For now, you can always e-mail us your favorite col and we will try to make it available in iCols!
I've found some information that is incorrect in iCols!
Although we try to bring you the best information, it could be possible that the information is wrong or the height profile is not correct. If you have any additions on the cols, please contact us with the corrections you have.
When I'm on holiday outside my country, I can't use iCols!
When you are abroad, it is possible that you cannot start iCols due to the policy of your mobile operator. We know a lot of our users would love to be able to use iCols on holiday. We're working on a feature where you can view your favorite cols in offline mode. So there is no need for a mobile dataplan or wifi-connection anymore.
I've used the 'near me' feature in iCols, but i can't find any cols!
It's good to understand how this feature works. Most of the users have problems when zooming out from the map and still can't see any cols near them. This is because you only receive the cols that are 50km near the center of the map. If you would like to see other cols, you should move the map a little and wait for the cols to refresh. If there are still no cols visible, it is possible that we just don't have any in your region. In that case you can always contact us with your favorite cols.
